Home Depot is having another round of tool deals of the day for today, July 31, 2023.
The latest batch of promos features corded and cordless power tools from Dewalt, Milwaukee, Ridgid, Ryobi, and one from Dremel, and a selection of hand tools and accessories.
Here are some of the deals I found to be especially noteworthy:

Dewalt 12″ Sliding Miter Saw with Stand Bundle – $399

The M18 Fuel deep-cutting band saw, for example, comes with the bare-tool, model 2729-20, and bonus High Output XC 6Ah battery, 48-11-1865. Shopping around, other sellers also have a “buy the bare tool get a free battery” promo.
The bare tool is $379 at other retailers, also with a free bonus battery. But with Home Depot’s deal of the day price of $309, you save $60 on top of that for a limited time.
Not everything is a good deal. I’d skip the Dewalt 20V Max Atomic drill kit, a $119 deal of the day special buy, and consider the newer model kit, with 1x 2Ah battery instead of 2x 1.3Ah, for $99. The newer model kit is a seasonal special buy, and in my opinion a much better deal.
The deals of the day end at 3am ET 8/1/23, unless supplies sell out sooner.

Milwaukee has some “buy that tool get this battery free” promos that are supposed to start tomorrow, 01Aug, but are already live.

DeWalt has some too, not sure what their full offerings are.

These “free batteries” and “kits for the price of bare tool” are so common that I have NEVER once bought a battery on its own (save the one time it was “buy a battery, get free tool”).
I wonder who buys the batteries?

I’m interested to see what other Dewalt deals may be available. I could use a biscuit joiner so any deal or free batt would be appreciated.
And speaking of Dewalt, I noticed that Toolup is now listing the DCG460 for pre-order with estimated 2-5 weeks to ship.

My store didn’t have any of the banners up, and if you go to the page for the 5Ah DCB205 or 4Ah DCB240, they have a few selections for what tools will be included in the promo, but it does not look to be all encompassing as it is mainly kits.

I have to say, that Dewalt DWS870 w/mobile stand is same price as my Hitachi 12″ without the stand! I’d sure like to replace it but… not today. Thanks for deals!

Not really a Milwaukee deal, but ToolNut has the preorder up on the much anticipated M18 1/2″ router – https://www.toolnut.com/milwaukee-2838-20-m18-fuel-1-2-router.html

Was interested in the Milwaukee grinder they had with the battery for 159 but it was the one without the brake.

What are people’s thoughts on the Ryobi track saw? I’ve been wanting to purchase a track saw for some time but have been hesitant due to cost.
